*Aluminum tripods, while heavier than their carbon fiber counterparts, perform comparably to carbon fiber models.
Carbon fiber tripods are ideal if weight savings is a necessity. However, if cost is a primary concern, or if you need a sturdy tripod
for studio work or backyard photography, aluminum tripods are a perfectly suitable and less expensive option.
