C-12 Installation Instructions: Manfrotto 488

 

Removing the Existing Clamp:   
Unscrew the mounting platform by hand. Unscrew the mounting platform by hand. Remove the mounting platform and loose hardware. Unscrew the clamp's central fastener using a 10mm Socket Wrench.

Installing the C-12:   
Fasten the clamp to the ball head using the enclosed M6 Screw. Installation Complete.

Note: Because of the recessed cup on the stem of the ball head, the set screws have nothing to engage with. Therefore, use Loctite or epoxy to prevent the clamp from twisting.
